Lead 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance operations in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving maintenance performance minimizing downtime and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview: Lead maintenance teams across plant operations utilities and equipment. This role focuses on preventive maintenance troubleshooting and continuous improvement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead maintenance teams including mechanics and electricians. Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Train staff on safety procedures and work methods. Coordinate maintenance scheduling with production. Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term solutions. Develop and track KPIs (OEE reliability performance). Ensure compliance with USDA and safety standards. Maintain maintenance records and inventory systems. Drive employee development coaching and engagement.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience. 2 years leadership or supervisory experience. Strong maintenance leadership and change management experience. Experience in manufacturing environment (food preferred). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred: PLC experience. Ammonia refrigeration experience. Meat processing/food manufacturing experience. Experience with TPM and CMMS systems. Strong leadership and team development skills. Bilingual (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits: Salary $80000 $100000 bonus. Full benefits package. Relocation assistance available.
