About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead a small field-based team responsible for equipment deliveries installations and operational support activities across metro and regional areas with occasional interstate travel.
This is not a desk-only management role. You will be expected to lead from the front assist with installations and logistics operations coordinate scheduling solve problems on the fly and ensure projects are completed safely and professionally.
The role suits someone with strong leadership ability transport and logistics exposure mechanical aptitude and the ability to handle physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a small operations team
- Coordinate scheduling and daily operational activities
- Carry out and assist with equipment deliveries and installations
- Operate HR vehicles across metro and regional locations
- Liaise with clients and maintain professional customer relationships
- Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and to a high standard
- Assist with loading/unloading site setup and problem solving on site
- Support team development and maintain strong workplace standards
Requirements
- Current HR Truck Licence
- Forklift Licence and operating experience
- White Card
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong scheduling and organisational skills
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of trucks and transport operations
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling work
- Well presented and professional manner
- Full valid Australian work rights
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident only
Working Conditions
- Start times between 5:00am 7:30am
- 814 hour shifts (typically 1012 hour days)
- Weekend work required as needed
- Regular regional travel and occasional overnight stays
- Occasional interstate travel
