We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance reliability and performance of protrusion/extrusion equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance team reduce downtime improve equipment efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance reliability and performance of protrusion/extrusion equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance team reduce downtime improve equipment efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs for protrusion/extrusion machinery.
Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
Diagnose mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
Minimise production downtime through effective troubleshooting and planning.
Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Monitor spare parts inventory and procurement requirements.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
Prepare maintenance reports budgets and performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Trade Test qualification advantageous.
Maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of protrusion/extrusion equipment and industrial machinery.
Experience with PLCs automation systems and preventative maintenance systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
