Role Title: Backend Tester Life Insurance

We are looking for a Backend Tester - Insurance to ensure the accuracy integrity and performance of backend systems supporting life insurance operations. You will work closely with business development and QA teams to validate APIs databases and system integrations across policy claims and underwriting processes ensuring reliable and compliant digital services.

Experience

• 37 years in backend / API testing or QA
• Experience in financial services or life insurance is an advantage
• Exposure to web-based systems and system integration testing

Technical & Testing Skills

• Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman / SoapUI / RestAssured)
• Understanding of REST APIs JSON XML and microservices
• Good knowledge of SDLC STLC Agile and regression testing
• Experience in defect tracking tools (Jira ALM TestRail)

Domain & Tools

• Understanding of life insurance processes (policy claims underwriting)
• Awareness of data quality compliance and regulatory requirements
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins Git) is an advantage

Nice to Have

• ISTQB certification
• Experience in ETL or data warehouse testing
• Exposure to test automation frameworks
