About The Role
As Head of Sales (DENZA) in The Netherlands you will lead the market expansion and sales growth of DENZA in the Dutch market. You will play a pivotal role in establishing DENZA as a strong premium automotive brand by developing sales strategies building a high-performing dealer network managing key stakeholder relationships and driving sustainable commercial performance.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for translating brand ambition into market results ensuring that DENZAs sales approach dealer performance customer experience and commercial execution are fully aligned with the premium positioning of the brand.
You will be a member of the BYD Benelux regional team and report directly to the Country Manager Benelux.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive market share growth sales volume revenue performance and premium brand positioning.
Manage business growth from an omnichannel perspective with a strong B2B2C mindset ensuring close cooperation between DENZA dealer partners and end customers.
Own the key sales metrics and KPIs for the Dutch market working closely with dealer partners to achieve agreed targets and performance standards.
Build develop and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners key industry stakeholders fleet and corporate prospects and premium customer groups.
Conduct regular market and customer visits to understand business opportunities customer expectations dealer performance and potential operational challenges.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts business reports and market updates providing clear insights into market trends sales performance risks and opportunities.
Identify and develop new market segments customer groups and business opportunities in line with DENZAs premium brand positioning and overall business plan.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to organize customer events launch activities dealer activations and promotional initiatives that strengthen DENZAs reputation and influence in the market.
Build and develop the DENZA Nederland sales team setting clear roadmaps defining sales targets coaching team members and tracking performance.
Work closely with internal departments within BYD Benelux including Network Development Operations Aftersales Finance Legal HR and Marketing to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution excellence.
Take on additional strategic and operational responsibilities as assigned by the Country Manager and senior management to support the companys growth objectives.
Your Profile
Minimum 8 years of proven success in premium automotive sales leadership experience in premium brand launches market entry dealer network development is preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Automotive Management or a related field.
Strong sales leadership capability with the ability to motivate challenge and develop a high-performing dealer network.
Solid experience in dealer management commercial planning sales target setting and performance management.
Strong capability in deal structuring commercial negotiation stakeholder management and team leadership.
Entrepreneurial hands-on result-driven and comfortable working in a fast-growing business environment.
Willingness to travel frequently mainly within the Netherlands.
