Welding and Coating Supervisor
Location: Ahmedabad
Reports To: Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Welding and Coating Supervisor to oversee daily production activities related to welding fabrication and coating operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of jobs maintaining quality standards and coordinating with workers and management for efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings blueprints sketches and specifications to understand customer requirements.
- Supervise welding fabrication and coating activities to ensure work is completed safely efficiently and on time.
- Support the setup and maintenance of machines fixtures and equipment.
- Coordinate with production teams and skilled workers for smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor productivity quality standards and material utilization.
- Ensure proper maintenance and readiness of tools machines and resources.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational and technical issues on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- 2–5 years of supervisory experience in welding fabrication or coating operations.
- Strong understanding of welding symbols measuring instruments and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
- Basic communication skills in English.
