AtGeneration we believe in the power of employment to change lives. We are a global nonprofit organization that supports adults to achieve economic mobility through employment. Generation trains and places adult learners of all ages into careers that are otherwise inaccessible working in partnership with governments employers and other system actors. We also conduct original research and share data insights on high-priority global workforce transition topics to inform decision-making by workforce system stakeholders. Launched in 2015 Generation comprises a global hub (Generation You Employed or GYE) and a network of in-country affiliates. To date the network has 150000 graduates and 23000 employers across 50 professions and 17 countries.
When learners join Generation 91% are unemployed of which nearly half are long-term unemployed. Three months after completing our program graduates have a 78% job placement rate rising to 88% within six months. Of our employed graduates 79% are hired by repeat employers who have previously hired Generation graduates and 89% are in jobs directly related to the profession for which we have trained them. Employed graduates immediately earn an average of 3-4X their previous earnings. Two to five years after graduation 77% of our alumni from upper-middle income countries continue to meet their daily financial needs and 63% can save for the future. To date Generations global graduates have earned more than $1.9 billion in wages. Generation graduates typically have a secondary school background 52% are female 28% have dependents and the majority identify with underrepresented communities in their country.
Position Overview:
Generation is in the midst of a period of growth and innovation with plans over the next 18 months to dramatically increase the number of people we serve deepen our existing partnerships around the world and expand and enhance the global tools curriculum and offerings that help drive our mission forward. To meet this moment we are expanding our team with a number of exciting global and regional opportunities.
This role is responsible for the operational execution and coordination of AI learning tool pilots across countries ensuring that pilots are delivered on time implemented as designed and supported effectively at the country level. Working in close partnership with the AI Online Learning Lead the role plays a critical part in turning strategy and pilot design into reliable ontheground delivery.
A core focus of the role is ensuring disciplined and timely data collection throughout the pilot lifecycle. This role will work with country teams to ensure required data evidence and pilot inputs are captured consistently and on schedule enabling robust evaluation of learning outcomes instructor effort and tool effectiveness.
The role will also support the onboarding and enablement of AI tools ensuring instructors delivery teams and country leads are equipped to use tools confidently and correctly. The role will ensure that AI pilots run smoothly insights are surfaced quickly and execution risks are identified and addressed early.
This is a Fixed-Term remote role in which we plan to interview from mid-late May. This role will run approximately from June 2026 through the end of March 2027.

Ideally based in Delhi India to enable significant ontheground engagement in the region.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Pilot delivery and execution
- Manage the operational delivery of AI learning tool pilots across countries ensuring timelines milestones and dependencies are met.
- Follow up proactively with country teams to confirm readiness launch progress and completion of pilots.
- Identify risks delays or blockers early and escalate appropriately to keep pilots on track.
Country coordination and ontheground support
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for country delivery instructional and operations teams during AI tool pilots.
- Support country teams in translating pilot plans into daytoday delivery reality ensuring consistent implementation while accounting for local context and constraints.
- Provide handson operational support where needed particularly to support integration of tools into live programmes.
Tool onboarding
- Support the onboarding and enablement of AI tools for instructors delivery teams and country leads.
- Roll out onboarding materials guidance and training resources developed by the central team.
- Provide practical support to address early adoption issues process gaps or toolrelated questions during pilot delivery.
Data collection tracking and reporting
- Ensure required pilot data is collected accurately and on time across all participating countries.
- Follow up with country teams to track completion of data inputs and adherence to agreed evidence and reporting standards.
- Maintain clear tracking of pilot status readiness adoption issues and completion and provide regular operational updates to central stakeholders.
Partnership with with Online Lead and across functional teams
- Work in close partnership with the AI Online Learning Lead to ensure pilot designs and evidence requirements are reflected in delivery.
- Surface operational insights delivery challenges and country feedback to inform iteration and decisionmaking.
- Coordinate with technical and AI platform teams to support issue resolution during live pilot delivery.
Required Experience And Skills:
- Minimum 3 years project or programme management experience with clear accountability for delivery timelines followup and execution.
- Minimum 3 years experience managing training programmes including online and inperson delivery and working closely with instructional or delivery teams.
- 1-2 years exposure to AI tools or AIenabled processes with an understanding of how these are integrated into operational workflows and live learning environments.
- Strong experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders including country teams and central functions with a focus on delivery discipline and followthrough.
- Ability to work hours that overlap with CET by at least 4 hours.
- Multilingual capability ideally across English Hindi and/or Tamil to support engagement with local teams in India.
Strongly preferred
- Based in or near Delhi India with the ability to provide handson inperson support to country and delivery teams.
- Experience supporting tool rollouts or pilots including onboarding enablement and earlystage troubleshooting.
- Comfort operating in pilot or experimental environments where iteration and adaptation are expected.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure timely and accurate data collection across programmes or countries to support evaluation and decisionmaking.
