Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Discussions with customers on contracts prices payment-termsandoverdue mainly remotely

• Business steering (mainly EE)for sales force of directaccounts bydeveloping communicating mid and short term customerspecific targets regarding price/volume additional financialsand projects.

• Monitor monthly sales updates and propose countermeasures.

• Generate information about the customers demandestimation competitive situation and the general marketconditions to better position Covestro as a key supplier at theaccount.

• Identification of growthopportunities and initiating contact totechnical sales or market development

• Responsible to generate and maintain customer relevant datain sales tools (C4C VendavoAPO LCM etc.)

• Collect market insights from customers on OEM projects andmarket sentiments. Listens to and understands the accountscurrent and future specific needs as well as their position inthe value chain and industry. Feedback to related commercialor technical sales colleagues.

• Receive instruction from industry commercial manager onsupply allocation and price guideline for responsiblecustomers. Offers price suggestions to achieve desired marketshare and profit goals however any price discussions and thefinal price decision remains under the full responsibility of theindustry mgmt. guidance

Qualifications and experience:

• Commercialeducation or technical education in the field ofplastics

• More than 8 years of professional sales responsibility

• Solid knowledge of polymer industry products andapplications

• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese bothorally and in writing

• Min 8 years of customer facing experience

• Insight in marketing & Sales tools as well as ERP

• Ability to implement change in customer interaction patterns

• A thorough knowledge and understanding of Covestrointernal structure personnel and capabilities are also of greatimportance

• Strongbusiness acumen with customer centric mindset

• Proactivity to maintain customer relations

• Strong Communication and business insights

• Plan & Aligns competencies are essential

• Relationship building on distance
