About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead Maternal Child Health services including Labor & Delivery Postpartum NICU and Pediatrics in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic initiatives focused on maternal and neonatal outcomes

• Oversee staffing budgeting and departmental operations

• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission CMS and NYS Department of Health standards

• Manage Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs

• Collaborate with medical staff and executive leadership

• Supervise mentor and evaluate nursing leadership and staff

• Promote evidence-based family-centered patient care

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

• Active New York RN license required

• BSN required; MSN MHA or MBA preferred

• Minimum 7 years nursing experience required

• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in Maternal Child Health required

• BLS and NRP required upon hire

• ACLS and PALS required

• NEA-BC certification preferred

• Strong expertise in perinatal nursing and acute care

• Experience with Baby-Friendly standards and high-risk OB care preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
