The Marketing Targeting Strategy & Campaign Delivery Manager role is within the US Marketing organization and is responsible for supporting data driven targeting strategies as well as executing marketing campaigns thru Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Platform. This role is responsible for working closely with multiple stakeholders including Marketing Planners and Business Line to deliver marketing and servicing communications by providing input into marketing strategies
Key responsibilities of the Marketing Targeting Strategy & Campaign Delivery Manager include:
- Translate strategy recommendations into marketing campaign data specifications that lays out all the parameters for executing the campaign and takes them thru Compliance approval
- Use Salesforce Data Cloud to build Segments use Data 360 Queries to build calculated insights auditing using Query Editor and activating those audiences to Salesforce Marketing Cloud including directly into channel integrations.
- Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud for assigned campaign configuration and journey build out including
- Profile configuration audience entry source exit criteria re-entry criteria and campaign goals
- Structuring Journey decision splits updates/modifications and optimization
- Developing and configuring dynamic content Personalization requirements messaging/activities across channels
- Partners with creative teams and build reusable content blocks
- Use Salesforce Loyalty Management to support Offers ecosystem and support the business in offer execution and fulfillment
The Marketing Targeting Strategy & Campaign Delivery Manager will be responsible for amassing deep business subject matter expertise to leverage marketing segmentation techniques generate relevant analytical insights for business issues and identify opportunities to drive business growth and value. Using their strong communication skills the role will work in partnership with business leaders to present or generate appropriate insights influence data strategy and deliver supporting collateral and/or presentations.
The Marketing Targeting Strategy & Campaign Delivery Manager is also responsible for conducting analyses on curated and/or aggregated DataMarts in conjunction with deep business subject matter expertise to generate relevant analytical insights for business issues and identify opportunities to drive business growth and value. This role works in partnership with business leaders to present or generate appropriate insights including the delivery of supporting collateral and/or presentations.

- Undertakes and completes a variety of complex projects and initiatives requiring specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross functional processes within own area of expertise
- Oversees and/or independently performs tasks from end-to-end
- May interact with any hierarchy level up to executive leaders and external vendors
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g. math physics engineering finance or computer science) Graduates degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or;
- 5 year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
Preferred Skills:
- Hands on experience in executing marketing campaigns with:
- Salesforce Data Cloud
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Salesforce Loyalty Management
- SFMC Administrator Certification
- SFMC Email Specialist Certification
- Experience using SQL JSON and Amp script
- Experience using analytical tools such as SAS Python or R in formulating relevant and meaningful data analysis
- Experience in leveraging marketing segmentation techniques using customer and prospect data for targeting campaigns
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and influence marketing strategy

- Serves as an authority on a given business domain and provides business expertise to place context around analytics discovery and inform recommendations
- Escalates data/process related problems and communicates to relevant teams in a timely manner and makes recommendations for resolution
- Provides day-to-day support and delivery of analytics

- Represents functional area as a business insights & analytics specialized expert
- Synthesizes complex and vast amount of information and translates into actionable insights and strategy
- Builds business requirements and facilitates project execution to develop insights

- Identifies opportunities for business growth within a specific business or function by identifying potential use cases and value drivers
- Utilizes both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to interpret and present data effectively and clearly
- Works directly with the business teams to gather the demand for analytics and work with the analytics hub to fulfill the analytics demand
- Provides business explanation for anomalies/outliers identified during analysis
- Works with business functions and analytics teams to transition business requirements to analytics requirements
- Trains business users on how to integrate analytics into decisions
- Leverages knowledge of data capabilities to build and deliver insights
- Develops analysis to corroborate initial proof of concept
- Executes on data requests accurately and within a timely manner
- Identifies and investigates data/analytics related issues
- Ensures business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls segregation of duties transaction approvals and physical control of assets)
- Leads/facilitates and/or implements action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues
- Actively manages relationships within and across various business lines corporate and/or control functions and ensures alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
- Keeps abreast of emerging issues trends and evolving regulatory requirements and assesses potential impacts
- Maintains a culture of risk management and control supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
