Process Mining Data Engineer

Role Overview:

TheProcess Mining Data Engineerwillbe responsible forbuilding andmaintainingscalable process mining solutions within theCelonisEnterprise Process Mining (EPM)environment. This role supports the expansion of process mining capabilities across the organization by enablingendtoendprocess transparency standardized insights andexecutionorienteduse cases.

Working under the direction of theGlobal Process Mining Lead the role translatespreapproved prioritized business requirements into robust andhighqualityCelonisassets. Collaboration with global business and functional teams is key to ensure solutions are reliable performant and aligned to enterprise standards.

Role Responsibilities:

As aProcess Mining Data Engineer you willbe responsible for:

• Executing process mining development and engineering activities under the direction of theGlobal Process Mining Lead

• Translating approved business requirements into scalableCelonissolutions including applications analyses dashboards alerts action and approval flows email automations and writebacks

• Building andmaintainingendtoend process data models withinCelonisEPM

• Enabling new process data sets and enhancing or updating existing data sources already loaded intoCelonis

• Using SQL to extract transformvalidate and analyze data from source systems

• Supporting data quality checks and ensuring consistency of process logic across use cases

• Collaborating closely with business and functional stakeholders (e.g.Supply Chain OrdertoCashProcuretoPay) to clarify requirementsvalidateassumptions and refine solutions

• ApplyingCelonisbest practices and enterprise standards

• Contributing to technical documentation reusable components and continuous platform improvements

• Staying up to date withCeloniscapabilities and emerging features

• Exploring opportunities related to automation execution use cases AIenabled insights and Copilotsupported capabilities (optional / emerging)

Experience and Competencies:

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree orMasters degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Systems Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience in process mining or data analytics

• Handson experience withCelonisProcess Mining including ObjectCentric Process Mining (OCPM) PQL andCelonisdata modeling concepts

• Strong SQL skills with practical experience in data extraction transformation validation and analysis

• Fluent English with the ability to work effectively in a global multicultural environment

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail

• Experience working with SAP including exposure to SAP tables is a strong plus

• Experiencein automationAIenabledanalytics orCopilotsupportedsolution
