Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Supervisor.

Position Details

• Reports toourSenior Warehouse Manager

• Direct oversight of4associates

• Monday Friday 7am to 5pm or until work is completed

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a productive pipe yard by hiringtrainingand providing professional development forall ofits associates

• Supervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork

• Ensure pipe yard space isutilizedeffectively and kept clean and orderly

• Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed

• Maintain security of pipe yard and safety of all associates and equipment reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management

Qualifications

• A strong background in warehouse operations andlogistics including shipping receiving delivery and inventory is

• 2 years of warehouse or pipe yard management or supervisory experience is preferred

• Material Handling Equipment Certificationispreferred

• A working knowledge of OSHA regulations

• Good judgment and decision-making abilities

• Great communicationskills and the ability and desire to lead a team
