Job Summary
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations to ensure safe efficient and accurate receiving storage inventory management and shipping & receiving activities. This role provides leadership for warehouse personnel while supporting operational goals related to customer service inventory accuracy productivity and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Manager works closely with Production Planning & Purchasing Quality and Commercial teams to ensure materials and finished goods are processed efficiently and delivered on time. The position also serves as the facility ERP/MRP expert and drives process improvements related to inventory control warehouse organization and material flow.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving storage inventory management shipping & receiving and material movement activities.
- Ensure finished goods raw materials and customer shipments are processed accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
- Monitor warehouse workflows and staffing levels to support operational requirements and customer expectations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts physical inventory audits reconciliation efforts and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to reduce discrepancies improve accuracy and minimize operational disruptions.
- Serve as the facility ERP/MRP expert and support warehouse transactions reporting and system troubleshooting.
- Coordinate warehouse organization and consolidation projects to maximize storage utilization and improve material flow efficiency.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse and inventory management processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity inventory management safety and operational performance.
- Monitor and report warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy on-time shipping performance productivity and safety metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety procedures forklift requirements housekeeping expectations and PPE standards.
- Investigate shipping & receiving issues inventory discrepancies damaged materials and process failures and implement corrective actions.
- Provide leadership coaching training and performance management for warehouse employees.
- Schedule and assign personnel to support operational priorities and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure employees understand and follow all safety expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support production schedules customer demands and inventory requirements.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned by leadership.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Knowledge of warehouse operations inventory control and material handling processes.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- 5 years of warehouse logistics or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with shipping receiving inventory management and warehouse operations required.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing environment and may require standing walking lifting and operating material handling equipment. Compliance with all company safety policies and PPE requirements is mandatory.
