- Education: Minimum High School Diploma required. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in psychology social work or related field preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor for Medina Home-Based the Therapeutic Behavioral Service (TBS) Worker provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients their families and/or family members as needed. They will work with clients in community school and home settings to provide support including education consultation linkage and skill building for the client parents and/or caregivers case coordination and symptom management and monitoring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide therapeutic behavioral services and documentation thereof including but not limited to:
- treatment planning;
- support including education and consultation for families regarding the clients mental illness;
- case management;
- symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms;
- assistance in increasing social support skills and networks;
- referral and linkage to other healthcare behavioral health care and non-health care services;
- access to resources in the community;
- skills building;
- client transportation; and
- report all incidents and documents the same day to Clinical Supervisor.
- Provide the required amount of delivery hours in community school and home settings each week to ensure quality clinical care.
- Work a flexible workweek which can include evenings to meet clients and families needs.
- Assist in crisis intervention problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis.
- Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning progress and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
- Attend to staffing needs as necessary for youth and family.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings supervision and on-going training.
- All required trainings certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
