Your Role:

As a Vice President withinPreqinsBusiness Development team you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth across the DACH region. We are looking for a commercially drivenrelationship orientedprofessional who is excited to build momentum open doors and close meaningful partnerships.

In this role we trust you to make an immediate impact generating new subscription revenue building a strong and sustainable pipeline and expanding existing client relationships in close partnership with our Aladdin Client Engagement colleagues.

You will be at the forefront of ourgo to marketefforts in Germany driving demand through localized events targeted outreach and strategic lead generation. This is a highly visible role with real ownership autonomy and opportunity to shape how we grow in one of our most important markets!

Whatyoullbe doing:

Well rely on you to own the full sales lifecycle from first conversation to close engaging senior decision makers understanding client needs and delivering thoughtful value driven solutions. Youll actively develop new business opportunities while also uncovering strategic expansion opportunities within our existing client base.

Youll bring Preqins products and capabilities to life confidently articulating how we help clients solve complex challenges in private markets. This includes delivering compelling proposals running impactful product demonstrations and acting as a trusted partner throughout the buying journey whether meeting clients in person or connecting virtually.

Above all youll be a collaborative force: working cross functionally sharing insights and contributing to a team culture that celebrates success and learns from every experience.

What we are looking for:

Wereexcited to meet candidates who bringenergy curiosity and a growth mindset.Youllbe fluent in English and German and have meaningful experience in business development or account management within financial services alternative investments or B2B SaaS environments.

You have a proventrack recordof delivering results consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets andyourecomfortable navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. You understand how to negotiate thoughtfullyidentifycross-selland upsell opportunities and createlong termvalue for clients.

Yourecommercially savvy analytically strong and naturallydetail oriented. You enjoy solving problems take ownership of outcomes and bring a disciplined yet flexible approach to managing priorities. Just as importantly you care about being a great teammate building trust quickly collaborating openly and contributing positively to team momentum.

Strongproficiencywith Microsoft tools (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) and comfort with technology more broadly will help you thrive in this role.

Our hybrid work model
