Job Summary: Assists the head coach with the training and instruction of student athletes maintaining appropriate practice and play schedules and conforming to all District school and league policies and procedures for athletics. Represents Osbourn High School and/or Metz Middle School the division and community in a professional manner.

Job Qualifications (required):

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of the sport or activities sponsored methods materials and best practices for successful student participation knowledge of adolescent growth and development.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with students peers parents and administrators.
• Coaching experience and/or playing experience in the sport to be coached is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see read talk hear handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment such as but not limited to: a personal computer calculator copier and fax machine. Some climbing stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting grasping or repetitive motions required.
