Job Summary
The administrative assistant provides frontoffice support coordinates scheduling and appointments assists leadership and ensures smooth daytoday operations. When the primary administrative assistant is out this role steps in to fully cover their responsibilities maintaining continuity across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a first point of contact for visitors callers and community members; provides clear and professional communication.
- Manage calendars schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for staff.
- Assist with internal communications announcements and distribution of station information.
- Handle incoming inquiries from the public including story tips viewer questions and community requests.
- Coordinate with reporters producers and technical staff to support daily broadcast needs.
- Maintain and track office supplies and breakroom supplies
- Provide full coverage for the primary administrative assistant during absences including expanded scheduling frontdesk duties and administrative coordination.
- Assist with special projects events and station initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in administrative support frontdesk operations or customerfacing roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with the public staff and external partners.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools email platforms and basic office software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and stepping into expanded responsibilities when needed.
- Experience in media broadcasting or a newsroom environment is a plus but not required.

NON-UNION FULL-TIME HOURLY
Compensation:
$15 to $15.50 per hour - commensurate with applicants experience and skill level
