Maintenance Technician Contract

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Contracted Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients team at (1) property in Chaska MN (55318). The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in residential maintenance have experience with unit turns have knowledge of basic maintenance be self-motivated be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. Appliance troubleshooting and repair is required (stove refrigerator washer and dryer). This role is contract and expected to last 2-4 weeks in length but could become permanent for the right candidate.

This role will be working with (1) community with 40 affordable housing units.

Salary: $26-$29/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Monday Friday 830AM 5PM.

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks windows floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up shoveling and sweeping curb/dumpster area maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer dryer refrigerator stove microwave dishwashers etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues diagnose problems replace and/or repair parts test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains repair/replace leaking faucets remove/replace caulking replace different components of toilets adjust/replace door closures and replace locks deadbolts and passage locks.
• Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 years experience in residential maintenance unit turns work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Appliance troubleshooting and repair is required (stove refrigerator washer and dryer).
• Punctual and reliable.
• Be able to pass a background check before employment.
