Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Software on behalf of our client in New York City this role you will contribute to the design and development of scalable cloud-based applications that power predictive marketing and automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing and Engineering to build data-driven platforms that support digital and print marketing initiatives for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend services and modern web applications

• Build and enhance cloud-native applications leveraging modern cloud platforms

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives

• Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions

• Ensure code quality through best practices code reviews and automated testing

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions

• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in software engineering building enterprise-grade applications

• Strong expertise and object-oriented programming languages

• Experience designing and building scalable backend systems

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration

• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform or similar)

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerized environments

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps or similar

• Experience working in Agile environments with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular

• Familiarity with search-optimized data systems (e.g. Elasticsearch or similar)

• Experience with shell scripting and automation tools

• Exposure to marketing technology or data-driven personalization platforms

• Experience working in high-scale distributed systems
