Job Summary

As the worlds leading sustainable aquaculture feed company BioMar Group is looking for an outstanding Process Manager in the Chinese market. You will lead the process team to control the production process improve product quality and efficiency and optimize costs to help the team achieve the companys sustainability goals and maximize customer satisfaction.

As a process manager you need to have solid foundational technical and process analysis capabilities to define analyze and optimize process routes process requirements and process data to meet and improve product quality. Responsible for the control and updating process documents and promote standardization; Lead continuous process improvement work lead production key performance indicator (KPI) control (including energy consumption material utilization production line speed etc.); Learn advanced operational practical experience while managing the process team. You will take full responsibility for the process and lead or participate in optimization and improvement projects for the company and the global process team.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • According to the nutritional formula and quality requirements lead the formulation of the whole process technology route and clarify the process parameters and standards
  • Ensure that processes comply with HACCP and ISO9001 standards feed quality and safety regulations and environmental requirements and identify and formulate key control points for the process
  • Organize the preparation of a full set of process documents such as process flow charts operation instructions parameter monitoring tables and inspection specifications
  • Establish a process data traceability system to record the process parameters and equipment operation data of each batch of production
  • Monitor key metrics such as input-output ratio and unit energy consumption to reduce manufacturing costs by optimizing process adaptability reducing material waste and focusing on energy-intensive processes
  • Establish and implement a management system for the issuance recycling and revision of process documents
  • Inspect the production workshop and focus on verifying the implementation of key parameters
  • Investigate the situation of non-conforming products in the production process investigate the root cause and formulate improvement and preventive measures
  • Continuously analyze production bottlenecks and optimize processes
  • Collaborate with other teams to optimize production line layout and improve the uptime of critical equipment
  • Participate in equipment verification and re-verification to ensure the process adaptability of new or modified equipment
  • Organize the trial production of new products and technologies and promote mass production after verification
  • process team management including team performance setting and assessment skill training etc.
  • Carry out cross-departmental collaboration with quality product technology procurement sales and other departments
  • Actively participate in the Global Process Network (GPN) to learn and absorb global process knowledge

Reporting line:

  • This position reports to Director of Operations Plant Division China Joint Venture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or above in aquaculture feed science animal nutrition food science and engineering or related majors masters degree is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing or production processes at least 5 years of experience in aquafeed processes and no less than 3 years of experience in process team management
  • Familiar with HACCP and ISO9001 systems with experience as an internal auditor
  • Proficient in the whole production process of aquatic feed with an in-depth understanding of process parameter optimization
  • It has relevant process experience in floating sinking and slow-sinking feeds and typical products such as sturgeon rainbow trout California perch turbot etc.
  • Familiar with the application of typical raw materials in aquafeed production
  • Have traceable experience leading process improvement projects
