Job Summary
Job Summary
The part-time Field Hockey Coach will assist the Field Hockey Coach with the organizing planning and coaching of the Field Hockey team. The ideal candidate is a former collegiate player who specializes in coaching goalies and is looking for a career in college coaching.
Essential Functions
- Assist the Field Hockey team during practices and games with emphasis on session planning and collaborations with coaching staff; Coaching goalies as the primary focus of duties.
- Assist with student-athlete development athletically and academically.
- Assist the head coach with other duties to ensure the success of the program such as fundraising operations and logistics.
- Assist in the coordination of team travel with other lacrosse and athletic department staff.
- Follow all university athletic department NCAA and CAA rules and policies.
- Assist in the planning and organization of on campus recruiting and camps and clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree.
- Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Former collegiate lacrosse player or coach and knowledge of coaching goalies.
Physical Demands
- Typically sitting at a desk/table
- Typically standing walking
- Typically bending crouching stooping
- Typically running climbing
- Lifting demands 50lbs

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
