HAAS / KNEE MILL MACHINIST - 1st Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1st shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm

2nd shift: Monday through Thursday 3pm-1am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to independently setup program and operate Haas Mills Knee Mills and other equipment.
• Machine complex high tolerance parts and components from blueprints and models.
• Verify dimensions alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers gage blocks micrometers and dial calipers.
• Visualize and compute dimensions sizes shapes and tolerances based on specifications.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• 3 years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and a positive can do attitude.

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Solidworks and/or MasterCAM experience.
• EDM experience.
• Previous tool room experience.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and/or experience.
