Job Summary
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for Classroom Teacher Assistants for anticipated summer programming.The District seeks dynamic energetic teacher assistants who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of PreK-5 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.
Teacher assistants will support lead teachers with summer programming for our Summer CHAMPsCamp.
Expected Dates: July 6 2026 - July 30 2026 plus pre-planning and training. Job duties include working with Champs Camp Lead Teachers to carry out designed student activities and lessons. Must possess a teaching certification or the ability to obtain a PA emergency certificate including those Education majors with at least 60 credits.
