Deputy Nursery Manager
40 Hours Per Week Up to 35000
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a vibrant and supportive early years setting working alongside a dedicated leadership team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
The nursery features thoughtfully designed learning rooms for babies toddlers and pre-school children creating engaging environments that support every stage of learning.
A strong emphasis is placed on outdoor learning with outdoor play areas including a dedicated playground and spacious garden used daily to encourage exploration physical development and imaginative play.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
- Previous Deputy Nursery Manager experience (essential)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Experience working across baby toddler and pre-school rooms
- Confident organised and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall management and leadership of the nursery
- Oversee practice within baby toddler and pre-school rooms
- Ensure high standards of care learning and safeguarding are consistently maintained
- Lead staff development coaching and performance support
- Assist with observations planning and quality improvement processes
- Support occupancy admissions and parent engagement
- Ensure policies procedures and regulatory standards are met at all times
- Promote positive relationships with children families and the wider community
- Step into the Nursery Manager role when required
