Summary:
The OD Manager will lead the design and delivery of key organisational development programmes that support the implementation of the Councils Culture Transformation Programme and People Strategy. This strategic leadership role will focus on embedding new organisational values supporting the Target Operating Model driving a culture of accountability and delivering a revised performance management framework.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Organisational Development portfolio to support the Councils Culture Transformation Programme and People Strategy.
Design and deliver corporate OD programmes aligned to organisational priorities and strategic objectives.
Lead the rollout and embedding of the Councils new corporate values through engagement communications and learning interventions.
Develop and implement OD initiatives that support behavioural and cultural changes required by the Target Operating Model.
Support the implementation and embedding of a new accountability framework across the organisation.
Complete the design and implementation of a modern values-led performance management framework.
Qualification:
Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources Organisational Development Business Management Psychology or a related discipline.
Essentials:
Significant experience as an HR and/or Organisational Development professional.
Proven experience designing delivering and evaluating Organisational Development interventions.
Strong knowledge of programme and project management methodologies and frameworks.
Experience influencing organisational culture and leading change initiatives at all levels.
Experience engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including senior leaders staff and trade unions.
