BMI UK&I have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial and Pricing Strategy Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes on a fixed term maternity cover for 1 year.

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies across trading terms quotation management and rebates to drive profitable growth and ensure competitive market positioning. Leading a Commercial Analyst you will work closely with Sales Marketing and Finance to develop robust pricing models analyse commercial data and monitor evolving market trends.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Health & Safety - Drives a proactive culture of safe working practices and wellbeing across all business activities to ensure that colleagues are engaged by looking after their own safety and the safety of others

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that drive profitable growth

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework for managing customer terms

  • Collaborate with sales and portfolio teams to develop competitive and compelling pricing proposals that align with customer requirements and the companys pricing strategy

  • Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly

  • Analyse pricing data to identify pricing opportunities and risks

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing models that align with business objectives

  • Lead pricing reviews and make recommendations for pricing adjustments

  • Collaborate with finance team to ensure pricing models are financially sound

  • Develop and maintain pricing policies and procedures

  • Lead coach and manage a commercial analyst

Your key skills and experience will include:

  • Proven experience of working with cross functional teams

  • IT Literate

  • Experience in Pricing strategy & Simplification

  • Ability to work in a fast moving sales environment

  • High levels of commercial acumen

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Problem solving

  • Ability to deliver under pressure or in uncertain environment

  • Ability to build strong relationships

  • Business process & Systems knowledge e.g. SAP / C4C experience/S&OP

  • Experience in change management & commercial excellence

  • Strong Analytical skills
