Job Description/ Responsibilities
Shift Model: 24 7 rotational
Role Overview
Responsible for proactive monitoring first-level diagnosis and L1/L1.5 troubleshooting. Not a catch-and-dispatch role. Expected to perform initial troubleshooting attempt first-level fixes provide accurate findings update documentation and join troubleshooting bridges.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Event Handling: Monitor using SolarWinds Thousand Eyes Netscout Dynatrace. Validate alerts and perform L1/L1.5 troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting: Run diagnostics analyze routing issues validate firewall health attempt corrective actions.
Incident Process: Document steps join bridges escalate to L2/L3 with data.
Documentation: Maintain SOPs guides diagrams.
Technical Skills
Routing/switching (BGP OSPF VLAN STP ACLs). Exposure to Arista Fortigate Cisco F5.
Monitoring using SolarWinds TE Netscout Dynatrace. Strong problem-solving and communication.
Role-Based Expectations
PA: Runbook-driven L1 tasks.
A: L1.5 diagnostics support PAs refine escalations.
SA: Escalation point advanced diagnostics lead troubleshooting documentation quality.
Qualifications & Experience
Degrees in CS/IT/Networking preferred.
