Job Title: Operations Support Supervisor / Logistics Coordinator

Location: Lafayette LA 70508

Duration: 12 months

Schedule: Business hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM some overtime required

Job Overview

This role will serve as the main point of contact for logistics operations coordinating transportation activities and supervising incoming and outgoing shop materials. This is a newly created position for a new facility and is not a backfill role.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate transportation and logistics operations

Supervise shop inventory movement (incoming/outgoing)
Ensure job deliverables are accurate and completed on time
Provide operational and technical support as needed
Assist with tracking and reporting KPIs
Support internal processes and service delivery improvements
Maintain safe and efficient shop operations

Qualifications

Prior shop/warehouse/operations experience preferred
Oil & gas experience not required
Preference for candidates with operational/shop background over purely administrative experience
Basic computer skills required (software is user-friendly)
Forklift experience is a plus (onsite certification available)
Strong organizational and coordination skills

Additional Information

NEST training in Kellyville required before assignment start
No mandatory certifications required
