Job Summary
Job Title: Technicians - GIS Analyst I
Work Location: Houston Downtown-Onsite 4 days a week- no remote-no exception
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description Summary:
This role promotes GIS accuracy and consistency as it relates to enterprise policies procedures and standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Reference and gain an understanding of department GIS Digitizing Standards.
Perform the workflow of retrieving relevant facility documentation and reviewing GIS digitizing for accuracy.
Utilize GIS digitizing standards facility documentation and the GIS environment to evaluate database accuracy and health.
Transpose complex data from records maps CAD drawings land base maps demographic models and economic resources and other source documents into GIS related database
Assist and collaborate with team members to communicate issues or necessary feedback relevant to improving accuracy and problem identification.
