Job Summary

Job Title: Logistics Analyst

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration: 24 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location: St. Paul MN 55114

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM) Overtime Possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage domestic and international shipping receiving fulfillment and reverse logistics operations.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and shipping requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Perform cycle counts inventory reconciliation and material tracking.
  • Support production schedules by ensuring material availability.
  • Test incoming components through assembly programming configuration and functional validation.
  • Develop and maintain testing procedures SOPs inspection criteria and quality standards.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies shipment issues defects and non-conformances.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering production supply chain vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor vendor performance freight costs inventory status and shipment tracking.
  • Process RMAs quarantined inventory rejected materials repairs and disposition activities.
  • Generate reports and recommend logistics and process improvements.

Experience

  • 2 5 years of logistics warehousing shipping/receiving inventory control or supply chain experience.
  • Experience working within manufacturing hardware industrial distribution or production environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP NetSuite Oracle JDE or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience investigating inventory or shipment discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering production vendors and suppliers.
  • Recent graduates with Supply Chain Logistics Business Operations or related degrees may also be considered.
