About Us

Healius has an expansive network of over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres operating across metropolitan regional and remote Australia.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Facilitator you will deliver consistent high-quality training and assessment that builds the capability confidence and performance of pathology collectors and coaches across our network. Youll combine your pathology expertise facilitation skills and understanding of compliance to deliver safe professional and customer-focused learning experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate engaging training sessions (virtual and face-to-face) to onboard upskill and develop new and existing pathology collectors.
  • Conduct competency assessments in line with the National Certification Framework and NATA requirements.
  • Coach and mentor coaches building confidence and consistency in how they train and assess collectors the Healius Way.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing evolution of a consistent national training curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate training assessment and competency records in line with quality and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with Managers Quality and Operations teams to ensure training aligns with SOPs policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of training materials and delivery methods including refreshing content and leveraging digital tools where appropriate.

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Pathology Collector who enjoys sharing your knowledge and has a genuine passion for developing others. You bring an engaging empathetic facilitation style strong professionalism and the ability to lead by example while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
This role will suit someone who approaches challenges with a solutionsfocused mindset is committed to continuously improving the learner experience and is flexible to work across multiple sites and operational environments.

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven experience as a Pathology Collector (essential) with exposure to specialist collections such as Drug & Alcohol screening and/or Paediatrics highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience training coaching or developing others with a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE) advantageous.
  • Strong people development skills including the ability to provide constructive feedback and actively engage learners.
  • Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence using technology including MS Office and exposure to online or blended learning environments.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between sites including regional and interstate locations.
  • Initiative and accountability to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to enhanced training outcomes.
