About the Role:
The Pressure Control Sales Representative is responsible for managing and developing customer accounts identifying opportunities for new business and facilitating communications both internal and external to ensure customer needs are met. They will grow revenue and market share while optimizing sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans.
Additional Information:
- This role is available in the following locations: Midland TX (preferred) Fort Worth TX (preferred) and Houston TX
- Relocation is not available for this role
- Up to 25% travel
What You Will Do:
- Build relationships with customers and cultivate accounts into long-term customer alliances
- Develop Tender/Proposal Strategy and prepare/negotiate associated sales quotes
- Develop and manage sales strategies including account targets account playbooks and customer engagement plans.
- Maintain opportunity pipeline in internal online systems
- Keep abreast of new products specifications industry trends competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicate new information to company colleagues
- Attend industry sponsored trade shows and seminars
- Work as liaison between the company and the customer ensuring all needs are met and regular performance reviews are scheduled
- Provides input and assistance to other functional areas including Quality Service and Safety to improve processes and customer satisfaction levels
Top Candidates Will Have:
- 5 years of Oil & Gas experience. Pressure Control (flow iron missile frac tree zipper etc) Equipment & Services experience preferred
- Experience in the Permian Basin & Relevant Industry sales contacts
- Customer Relationship Management
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a clean driving record which generally means:
- No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months.
- No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
What You Have Skills Knowledge & Experiences:
- Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organizations industry group trends directions major issues regulatory considerations and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.
- Account Management: Knowledge of account management; ability to manage day-to-day activities providing services and support to existing clients.
Summary Pay Range:
$128470.00 - $192710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
