Merchant Acquisition & Partnership Development
34 years of experience in partnership management business development or merchant acquisition preferably in Fintech E-commerce or B2B SaaS with a focus on employee benefits or flexible spending.
Proven track record of identifying negotiating and onboarding high-value merchants/partners to expand a flexible benefits ecosystem.
Deep understanding of the flexible benefits landscape and the types of merchants that resonate with corporate clients and their employees.
Establish and maintain strong effective relationships with new and existing merchants/partners.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Hands-on experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales Product Operations Marketing) to ensure smooth integration and launch of merchant partnerships.
Ability to act as the primary point of contact for key merchants and resolve partnership-related issues efficiently.
Experience in presenting and communicating the value of merchant partnerships to internal teams and external corporate clients.
Strong presentation and communication skills in English (written and verbal) to facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders and regional partners.
Voucher Operations & Management
Direct experience managing the daily operations of a voucher gift card or digital benefits program including issuance redemption tracking and reconciliation.
Familiarity with systems and processes for voucher lifecycle management ensuring security compliance and optimal user experience.
Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics such as voucher utilization/redemption rates merchant performance and client satisfaction.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to merchant billing voucher validity and client usage.
Product Acumen & Market Insight
Strong ability to bridge merchant operational and customer needs back to the product team.
Ability to craft merchant positioning and use cases that increase adoption of the flexible benefits platform by end-users.
Focus on driving commercial outcomes through successful partnership execution measured by client adoption benefits utilization and revenue impact.
