Job Summary

A U.S. subsidiary of a leading Japanese corn starch manufacturer with over 150 years of history is seeking a motivated professional to join its growing team in Champaign Illinois.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in international commodity trading market research logistics coordination and business development within a global environment connecting the U.S. and Japan.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills business acumen and the desire to grow into a future leadership role within the company.
Key Responsibilities

Purchase and coordinate corn procurement from U.S. grain suppliers
Monitor and analyze U.S. grain market trends
Translate and interpret between Japanese and English during meetings and business communications
Coordinate logistics storage and transportation of grain shipments to Japan
Support international business development and sales activities
Collaborate with U.S. and Japan-based teams on research and new business initiatives

Qualifications

Native-level Japanese and business-level English required
Authorized to work in the United States
Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance or related field preferred
Interest or experience in commodity trading grain markets finance or international business
Knowledge of CBOT futures foreign exchange or grain trading is a plus
Strong communication analytical and leadership potential
Willingness to relocate to Champaign Illinois
