Job Summary

The Meetings & Events Project Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and executing highimpact meetings and events that support the Semiconductor Product Group (SPG) at Applied Materials. This role partners closely with SPG business units executive stakeholders Corporate Communications and crossfunctional teams to deliver seamless professional and wellexecuted experiences across inperson hybrid and virtual formats.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline attention to detail vendor coordination experience and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and projectmanage a diverse portfolio of meetings and events including leadership offsites internal forums employee engagement events and largescale programs.
  • Own endtoend event executionfrom requirements gathering and planning to onsite delivery and postevent closeout.
  • Develop and manage detailed event project plans timelines budgets and risk mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across business units Corporate Communications Facilities IT Security and Global Meetings & Events.
  • Manage external vendors and venues ensuring clear communication accurate deliverables and adherence to contracts and service expectations.
  • Partner with Procurement to support contract execution and vendor management.
  • Create track and reconcile event budgets; ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with company policies.
  • Support event registrations communications logistics and onsite operations (including travel catering A/V and runofshow).
  • Participate proactively in planning committee meetings and serve as a reliable point of contact for execution details.
  • Assist with hybrid and virtual event delivery leveraging event platforms and tools as needed.
  • Ensure a consistently positive attendee experience while maintaining Applied Materials brand and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience in meetings events or project management preferably within a corporate technology or fastpaced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience coordinating vendors contracts logistics and budgets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with diverse stakeholders including senior leaders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality execution.
  • Selfstarter with demonstrated problemsolving and ability to adapt in dynamic situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and event/registration platforms.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.

For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
