Job Summary
Looking for an exciting opportunity this summer
Apply for our Student Employee position and come work for us this summer. No Weekends! Monday through Friday 7am - 3pm.
We are looking for a temporary employee this summer for our Wastewater department. Following are examples of duties:
Wastewater Treatment Facility:
- Support maintenance and operations staff with routine tasks and basic general duties
- Assist plant operators as needed
- Help lab staff with sample collection basic lab testing cleaning of glassware and general lab functions
- Perform general facility upkeep including cleaning of buildings floors windows tanks and using pressure washing equipment
- Assist with groundskeeping by operating manual and powered equipment
- Receive on the job training
What we need from you:
- You must be enrolled in any higher education learning for the fall semester
- Ability to apply safety precautions and safety equipment on assigned tasks
- Ability to work well with team members and the public
- Possession of a valid drivers license and a good driving record
- Must provide safety shoes and work clothing.
- Must be 18 years old to operate equipment due to safety requirements
Starting Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
