We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Business Development Manager /Sales Manager to drive growth across targeted client accounts within the water sector at Xylem across ANZ. This role will lead the go-to-market sales motion for our digital solutions portfolio by developing integrated account strategies in partnership with Key Account Managers and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the GTM sales strategy and integrated account plans for Digital Solutions across priority clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including C-suite executives
- Drive client engagements solution positioning and proposal development for digital opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to align strategic pursuits and deliver client-focused solutions
- Identify market trends competitive insights and growth opportunities within the water sector
- Develop compelling value propositions using a consultative solution-based sales approach
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting through CRM/Salesforce systems
About You
- Proven experience in B2B sales account management or business development within digital solutions technology infrastructure utilities or water industries
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and market trends
- Experience using CRM platforms such as
- Knowledge of digital transformation trends within utilities or municipal water sectors
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Business or related field
