Sofina is seeking a results-driven and detailed-orientated Payroll/Accounts Receivable Clerkto join their Finance department at their Hanover Ontario specifically the successful candidate will:PayrollProcess weekly hourly payrollProvide income information to Human Resources as requestedMaintain payroll information by collecting calculating and entering dataUpdate and maintain payroll records for all employeesPrepare and amend ROEs as neededReview and prepare T4 slips annuallyResponsible for reconciling and submitting annual statutory deduction remittancesComplete G/L account reconciliation for all payroll accountsPay monthly WSIB premiumsPrepare month end reports for Finance Human Resources and the UnionAll other duties as assignedAccounts ReceivablePrepare bank deposits for EFT and cheque paymentsVerifies validity of payment discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales trade promotions customer service departments and from customersResolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions proceduresVerifies validity of payment discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales trade promotions customer service departments and from customersInitiates deduction dispute resolution utilizing customer systems/processAll other duties as assignedKey QualificationsPrevious work in Business Administration or a related field is an communication and interpersonal organizational and time management to work effectively in a fast-paced in Microsoft Office suite specifically ExcelKnowledge of all aspects of to detail and problem-solving USSofina Foods is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse workforce.
