What You Will Do
This role supports our school-age program. During the summer this is a full-time position. During the school year this is a split-shift position supporting before and after school care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping with school-age activities games projects and daily routines
- Supporting children during meals transitions outdoor play and group activities
- Supervising children during before and after school care
- Helping with summer field trips and school-age events
- Keeping classrooms buses and activity areas clean organized and safe
- Providing positive guidance and support to children
- Communicating with team members and families as needed
- Driving children to and from school or scheduled field trips as needed
What We Need From You:
We need team members who are reliable flexible and enjoy working with school-age children.
- Available Monday through Friday
- Full-time availability during the Summer
- Split-shift availability during the school year or willing to help in other classrooms full time
- Able to work within our hours of 6:00 am to 6:30 pm as scheduled
- Willing to support where needed
- Show up on time and stay for your full shift
- Comfortable being active throughout the day and lifting up to 50 pounds
- At least 21 years old
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Willing to safely drive a large sized vehicle for school-age children
Qualifications
- Patient caring and dependable
- Enjoys working with school-age children
- Able to stay organized and handle a busy environment
- Food Handler Permit
- First Aid and CPR or willing to get certified
- Willing to complete required child care training
- At least 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record
