What this job involves: Liaising with Lab Managers EHS contacts and contract managers regarding scope changes inspection findings and issue resolution. This role leads a team performing reagent management dangerous goods shipping and receiving operations while liaising with Lab Managers EHS QA and external service providers to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Ability to identify chemical hazards chemical handling and storage with compatible materials

Oversee fulfillment of internal/external chemical requests sourcing receiving and weighing operations

Coordinate inter-site and intra-site material transfers

Oversee all Shipping and Receiving operations including mail/copy rooms and Facilities supplies inventory

Deliver packages to designated drop-off areas and maintain delivery receipt records.

Deliver critical cold packages to end users in a timely manner

Act as Dangerous Goods Transportation (DGT) coordinator

Process and audit incoming deliveries for accuracy and completeness against bills of lading invoices and orders

Examine shipments reject damaged items record shortages and resolve issues with shippers and customers

Prepare package and ship materials per DOT/IATA guidelines and 49 CFR regulations

Collaborate with Global EHS and Sustainability DGT Lead to establish correct classification prior to shipping

Maintain current editions of dangerous goods shipping manuals and guides

Ensure proper handling and documentation for controlled substances hazardous materials and temperature-sensitive inventory

Coordinate daily shipments with logistics providers and freight carriers

Work with Customs and Brokers to resolve shipment issues

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

Minimum of 5 years of lab experience preferably within a laboratory setting

2-5 years of supervisory experience

• Prior experience with RIO Arriba or similar procurement and inventory management systems

• 1-2 years of chemical management handling and storage experience

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of chemical management handling and storage experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to provide precise accurate and timely documentation

Commitment to customer service and working in a laboratory environment

Proficiency in MS Office suite

Understanding of contracts and service delivery

Skill in managing relationships between JLL and client organizations

Proven strong customer service skills

Ability to adjust to changing business needs while maintaining focus on long-term goals

Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives laws regulations and audit requirements

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
