As part of the X-Ray Group we operate across five sites: Albury Wodonga Lavington Wangaratta and Yarrawonga. Located in Northeast Victoria the region offers an excellent lifestyle and is ideally positioned between Melbourne and Sydney.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Clinical Assistant (Division 2 Nurse) to join our Radiology team in Wangaratta. Key responsibilities include:
- IV cannulation as required
- Admission and education of patients and their families
- Post-procedure care recovery and discharge
- Assisting with room setup for various imaging procedures
ABOUT YOU
- Registered Division 2 Nurse with medication endorsement (oral and IM) and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Ability to work in a high-field magnetic environment
- Strong organisational communication interpersonal and time management skills
- IV cannulation qualification or willingness to undertake training
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong patient-centred approach with the ability to build effective relationships
