About the Role
Are you driven by a passion for sustainability and clean energy As a Business Development Manager - Agri-PV youll lead the development of environmentally conscious multi-functional clean energy projects. This is a dynamic and forward-thinking position where youll oversee everything from stakeholder collaboration to ensuring projects align with environmental and community goals.
Youll work as part of a dedicated team of specialists including technical engineers strategists legal consultants and other experts. Upon approval of key preliminary project requests youll facilitate a smooth handover to the project implementation team for successful execution.
Additionally the company provides a dedicated cold calling team that ensures all landowner meetings are warm introductions. This allows you to focus on building meaningful relationships and advancing projects efficiently without cold outreach.
What Youll Be Doing
- Landowner Relations: Cultivating strong working relationships and finalizing agreements with property owners through warm meetings facilitated by the cold calling team.
- Design Leadership: Developing project designs that are environmentally integrated and agricultural-friendly.
- Collaboration: Working closely with local government bodies municipalities land-use planners and community leaders to ensure project feasibility.
- Community Engagement: Spearheading outreach efforts to engage and involve local residents in the planning process.
- Official Applications: Preparing and submitting applications for regulatory and municipal permissions including tenders.
What Were Looking For
Youll thrive in this role if you possess:
- Proven Expertise: 25 years of relevant experience in renewable energy project development with knowledge of ecology agriculture or spatial planning.
- Core Skills: Analytical and strategic thinking excellent communication abilities and a knack for effective stakeholder management.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative and environmentally conscious approach.
- Educational Foundation: Academic qualifications at a Bachelors or Masters level in a relevant field.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch is essential.
