The Steel Sourcing Analyst will be based in Madrid in Nextpower this position you will report to our Steel Sourcing Sr. Manager. The analyst will support the manager in preparing request for proposal for all steel parts in Nextpower product and Global suppliers as well as analyzing offers and cost/capacity models.

Here is a glimpse of what youll do

• Identify patterns in cost analysis to drive sourcing strategy

• Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs)

• Analyze steel markets and perform supplier screening and qualification

• Review and analyze quotations

• Develop and maintain suppliers scorecards

• Support new supplier development and qualification

• Support process optimization in the Supply Chain department

Here is some of what youll need (required)

• Solid structuring and analytical skills to keep track of multiple projects and vendors in an international and multicultural environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Strong data analysis skills required

• Experience with VBA and PowerBI preferred

• Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)

• Fluent oral and written communications in English

• Results orientation and demonstrated ability to think out of the box to drive results

• Ability to handle ambiguity and respond quickly and flexibly

• Autonomous

Here are a few of our preferred experiences

• Bachelors degree in a technical and/or business major; graduate degree preferred

• Previous experience in Supply Chain solar and/or steel sector preferred

• Experience working in an international environment

• Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required; other European languages are a plus.
