Senior Software Engineer (Fluent in Agentic AI based Engineering)

The Backend Framework and Dev Tools team is responsible for providing world-class tooling capabilities and experiences that empower and inspires our employees partners and customers to build and tailor business applications providing business value in a fast and agile way. 

As a Software Engineer you will have the responsibility to design develop and maintain IFS software products. The role is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Stability performance maintainability usability and security are key aspects of this role. Qualifications :

• A degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology
• Extensive experience in Java with strong command of Object Oriented Programming principles enabling the design of scalable and maintainable systems.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies and Microsoft Azure cloud services (or any other cloud platforms) will be an added advantage
• Experience in agentic AI development using tools such as Cursor Claude code Github copilot (or similar other tools).
• Experience in Spec Driven Development (SDD) using methods like BMAD will be beneficial.
• Familiar with agentic AI workflows including orchestration of LLMs and AI agents to deliver enterprise-grade applications.
• Having strong analytical skills
• Experience with a track record in working with Enterprise Grade Software solutions.
• Proactive take initiatives and responsibility. 
• A natural desire to discover and learn new technologies and processes
