Special Educator (One-Year 2026-2027) Needed

Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) seeks a one-year 1.0 FTE innovative and collaborativeSpecial Educatorto join our Allen Brook school community. CVSD is seeking an educator with demonstrated leadership organization and problem-solving skills who shares our passion for inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have experience working on collaborative teams including working closely with classroom teachers to co-design instruction. Candidates should indicate in their cover letter any specific expertise or experience they bring to their work including (but not limited to): literacy or math expertise coteaching low-incidence disabilities/intensive needs and working with learners who have social/emotional/behavioral challenges.

A Masters degree or equivalent in Special Education plus relevant experience in providingspecial education services is preferred but candidates with different backgrounds who may be eligible for licensure are encouraged to apply.
