Location: This is an in-office role based in either our Austin or Houston office.
Note: For Austin candidates HOA attorney experience is required. For Houston candidates real estate litigation experience is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Job Description
- Represent clients in HOA property owners association real estate and litigation matters
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to assigned clients
- Draft review and amend governing documents legal correspondence pleadings motions opinions and related legal documents
- Advise clients on compliance governance disputes collections and real estate-related legal issues
- Handle real estate litigation matters including pleadings discovery hearings negotiations and case strategy
- Prepare and pursue judicial foreclosures when applicable
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions court briefing and client guidance
- Attend client board meetings member meetings hearings and other legal proceedings as needed
- Supervise and work closely with legal assistants and support staff
- Manage deadlines client expectations billing requirements and multiple active matters
Qualifications
- Active Texas law license required
- Austin candidates must have HOA attorney experience
- Houston candidates must have real estate litigation experience
- 1 year of relevant attorney experience preferred
- Experience with court appearances litigation client communication legal drafting and case management preferred
- Strong legal writing research organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional approachable client-service mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management tools
- Ability to work full-time in office

1 to 3 years directly relevant experience: $120K to $140K
3 to 6 years directly relevant experience: $140K to $160K
6 years strong HOA POA real estate litigation or client-facing litigation experience: $160K to $180K
