What youll do:
This position plays a critical role in supporting the Listed Company Services (LCS) team and their objective to support the 2000 publicly listed companies on the exchange. Key stakeholders for the team are CEOs CFOs and Investor Relations professionals.
Event Planning & Co-ordination
- Assist in the planning of the online and in-person events run by the team including:
- ASX listing ceremonies anniversaries and other milestones
- Online/hybrid/in-person conferences and smaller bespoke events
- In-person client networking (luncheons dinners etc.)
- Educational webinars and seminars (in-person and online)
- Participation in hosted events
- Work with LCS team and sponsored organisations to execute ASX sponsorships
- Work with internal teams such as marketing communications and compliance on coordination of programs e.g. tracking listings maintaining spread sheets CRM database and coordinating invite lists
Writing & Phone Calls
- Draft welcome speeches for ASX-hosted events such as listing ceremonies
- Draft emails to C-suite clients to arrange above hosted events conferences and networking Draft copy for social media to publicise recognise ASX events or listed company milestones
- Work with various suppliers on events and programs offered
Administrative Support
- Support Relationship Managers in preparing for client meetings e.g. co-ordinating diaries preparing briefing materials and conducting preliminary research on listed companies
- Support logistics for international and domestic trips for team incl. flights accommodation etc.
- Enter data into Salesforce to track LCS team activity and record client details
- Carry out other administrative tasks as required
Client Facing Activities
- Liaise with listed company clients via phone and email as required
- Attend networking events with clients
Nice to Haves
- Content creation experience/interest an interest in creating short videos/reels for the team at major events e.g. Listing Ceremonies
What youve done:
- Developed excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident client or other external stakeholder-facing experience
- Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Demonstrated in your prior work experience that you are hard-working enthusiastic a fast learner and someone who contributes to team outcomes
- Achieved a basic familiarity with financial markets

- Worked in roles that require team members to pitch in and help to get the job done
- Worked in a role assisting a team across administrative and/or event work in a client-facing capacity or worked in marketing event planning or client coordination

- Have an organised and methodical approach to your work
- Interest in networking and meeting new people across varying industries
- Comfortable jumping on the phone and speaking with clients to help answer their questions
- Be an enthusiastic team player who is eager to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment where activities and tasks may change from time to time to time. Enjoy a highly collaborative team environment with a lot of external client contact
