Job Summary

Lead inspire and make a difference every day at St Bernadettes Catholic OSHClub.

Were looking for a passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead our St Bernadettes service and create a safe welcoming and engaging environment where children can learn play and thrive.

This is a permanent part-time role offering 35.5 hours per week including 4 hours of paid non-contact administration time to support you with planning programming and service leadership.

Youll work Monday to Friday across our before and after school care programs:

Rise then Shine: 6:30am 9:00am
Stay and Play: 2:15pm 6:00pm

At St Bernadettes youll step into a well-established service with a standalone OSHC space full kitchen dedicated office and fully enclosed outdoor area. The service has a supportive family feel with strong relationships across the team school community and key stakeholders.

Youll receive regular support from your Regional Manager and Mobile Coordinator with thorough training to help you feel confident in the role. There are also opportunities to grow and progress over time making this a great fit for someone looking to continue building their career in OSHC.

As Coordinator youll lead a team of Educators build positive relationships with children and families and help create meaningful experiences before and after school each day.

About the role

As an OSHClub Coordinator youll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership: 

  • Youll create and lead a dynamic child-centered program filled with exciting activities like STEM sports cooking arts and craftsall designed to inspire and engage. 
  • Youll take full ownership of your teams roster manage day-to-day operations ensure compliance and handle admin tasksall while fostering an environment of teamwork and growth. 
  • With mentorship from regional managers and support from a dedicated office team youll have everything you need to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact. 

Qualifications :

  • A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
  • State working-with-children check
  • Australian working rights
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
  • WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
