Project Coordinator, Building Construction

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supported project health safety and environmental compliance by implementing project safety procedures and maintaining OH&S standards

• Managed RFIs submittals change orders permits and inspection scheduling to ensure timely project coordination

• Maintained project documentation filing systems drawings and correspondence within the document management system

• Assisted with project billing cost tracking and administrative coordination for project start-up and closeout

• Coordinated change order pricing subcontractor documentation and purchase orders for Project Manager review

• Tracked project milestones schedules and quality control requirements to support successful project delivery

• Prepared project closeout documentation including warranties O&M manuals turnover packages and archived records

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience

• Completed post-secondary education in Construction Engineering or related discipline an asset

• Working knowledge of construction documents drawings specifications and current construction practices and methodology

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to address stakeholder needs

• Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs; familiar with scheduling software

Work Conditions:

• Site based position

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
