About the Role:
AFS isseekinga highly skilled and experienced SeniorDevSecOpsEngineer(CICD) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of creatingmaintaining andoptimizingGitLab and otherpipelines. This role requiresexpertisein making pipelines scalable and reusable building processes for various programming languages and integrating security and compliance automation into the pipelinesanda strong foundationin Linux engineering with advanced skills in containerization technologies. The candidate will have a proventrack recordin enhancing CI/CD processes and ensuring robust and secure software delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

Design createmaintain andoptimizeGitLab pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable CI/CD processes.

Develop scalable and reusable pipeline components to standardize and streamline the software development lifecycle.

Implement and manage build processes for various programming languages ensuring consistency and efficiency across different projects.

Automate security and compliance checks within the CI/CD pipelines to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with development operations and security teams to integrateDevSecOpspractices into the software development lifecycle especially as it pertains to creatingmaintainingandoptimizingpipelines.

Monitor pipeline performanceidentifybottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance speed and reliability.

Ensure pipelines are designed to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices.

Stay abreast of the latest CI/CD andDevSecOpstechnologies and recommend more efficient and secure solutions.

Working with tools likekustomize helmbash manipulate data structures such as JSON YAML XML.

Building andoptimizingcontainer images and the automation of these builds.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related fieldor equivalent experience with a minimum of3years of direct experience in CI/CDorDevSecOpsrelatedfields.

Extensive experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines including creatingmaintaining andoptimizingthem.

Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash Python Go or similar.

Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as but not limited to: TCP/IP DNS HTTP etc.

Nice to have:

Possess andmaintainrelevant industry certifications related to CI/CD DevOps or security.

Familiarity with open-source tooling contributing to open-source tools ability todiagnose issues and create valuable bug reports.

Solid understanding of agile kanban and generalDevSecOpsprinciples.

Prior experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker Kubernetes).

Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP vSphere).

Proficient in applying security and compliance standards within CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to program in multiple languages.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
